A classic Italian creamy white sauce prepared with 35% cream, Parmesano and Romano cheese and a hint of black pepper. Ideal to use on pasta or a sauce on proteins such as chicken or fish. The simplicity of the sauce is indulgent but it can be used as a canvas to customize.

Ingredients

Cream (cream, milk, dextrose, cellulose gum, guar gum, locust bean gum, mono- and diglycerides, carrageenan), Milk, Water, Canola oil, Butter, Flour, Modified corn starch, Parmesan cheese , Romano cheese, Salt, Spices.

Allergen : Wheat, Milk.

Preparation

Boiling

Place the bag in a sauce pot in cold water and brig to a boil and use as needed as a whole bag or portioned

Saute

Stove top: Pour the thawed sauce into a saucepan stirring at low heat until temperature reaches 72°C.

Microwave

Microwave: Microwave the thawed sauce until the sauce reaches 72°C. Heating times may vary between microwave ovens.

Handling instructions

Defrost sealed bag in refrigerator between 2-4 °C (36-39 °F) a minimum of 24 hours before use . Do not overlap bags. Once thawed, and kept below 4° Celsius in the sealed bag, the sauce will have 45 days shelf-life . Further freezing/thawing cycles are not suggested. Once the sauce bag has been open the residual product inside can only stand 3 days in a fridge between 2-4°C (36-39 °F)
