Fettuccine are long, flat, wide Italian noodles, instantly recognizable by their ribbon-like shape. Originally from the Lazio region, they’re traditionally made with eggs and flour. Slightly thicker and broader than tagliatelle, fettuccine are perfect for rich, hearty sauces: think classic Alfredo, velvety cream sauces, buttery creations, or robust tomato and Bolognese favourites.

    1. Bring 3 qt of salted water to a boil.
    2. Add pasta and stir gently. Cook for 4 minutes and drain.
    3. Serve immediately with your favourite O Sole Mio sauce.
      *Cook until a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
