Main  Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and plumbing work related to equipment and building maintenance
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
  • Respond efficiently to service calls and restore equipment operations promptly
  • Program, diagnose, and maintain Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Ensure proper functioning and optimization of control equipment (valves, controllers, sensors, etc.)
  • Install, modify, repair, or replace components of automated systems
  • Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Meet maintenance and repair deadlines
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery
  • Strictly follow quality, health, and safety standards

Profile  Required

  • College diploma in electrotechnics, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience
  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or controlled environments
  • Strong knowledge of motors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and HMIs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron)
  • Experience with Wonderware (asset)
  • Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, LEED, and OHS standards
  • Welding and machining skills (asset)
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
  • Team player, autonomous, and able to work under pressure
