Main Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and plumbing work related to equipment and building maintenance
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
- Respond efficiently to service calls and restore equipment operations promptly
- Program, diagnose, and maintain Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
- Ensure proper functioning and optimization of control equipment (valves, controllers, sensors, etc.)
- Install, modify, repair, or replace components of automated systems
- Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Meet maintenance and repair deadlines
- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery
- Strictly follow quality, health, and safety standards
Profile Required
- College diploma in electrotechnics, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience
- More than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or controlled environments
- Strong knowledge of motors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and HMIs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron)
- Experience with Wonderware (asset)
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, LEED, and OHS standards
- Welding and machining skills (asset)
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
- Team player, autonomous, and able to work under pressure
