Meat Sauce

Our meat sauce is similar to our classic Bolognese, but with about 10% more meat — a savoury blend of beef and pork for even richer flavour. Perfectly balanced and enhanced with a carefully crafted mix of Italian spices, it delivers depth in every bite. Incredibly versatile, it’s delicious tossed with al dente pasta or layered generously into lasagna, baked casseroles or eggplant Parmesan.

Thawing step:
Defrost sealed bag in refrigerator between 36–39°F (2–4°C) for a minimum of 24 hours before use. Do not overlap bags. Once thawed and kept below 39°F (4°C) in sealed bag, the sauce will have 45 days shelf-life. Further freezing/thawing cycles are not recommended.

Stove top:
Pour the thawed sauce into a saucepan stirring at low heat until temperature reaches 162°F (72°C).

Microwave:
Microwave the thawed sauce until the sauce reaches 162°F (72°C). Heating time may vary between microwave ovens.

*Once the sauce bag has been open, the residual product inside can only stand 3 days in a fridge between 36–39°F (2–4°C).
