Penne
Penne are short, tube-shaped pasta with angled ends, prized for their consistent texture and versatility. Their smooth surface provides a tender bite while letting sauces—tomato-based, rosée or creamy—shine. Perfect for pasta dishes, baked gratins and pasta salads.

Skillet:
- Bring water to a rolling boil (2–6 liters depending on quantity), add 1 teaspoon of salt (optional).
- Add desired amount of frozen pasta to boiling water. Wait until water returns to a rolling boil and cook for 30 seconds.
- Drain and toss pasta in skillet with preheated O Sole Mio sauce. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, until reaching internal temperature of 162°F (72°C). Add favourite toppings as desired (parmesan, basil, chili, etc.).
Oven:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place 500 g of frozen pasta in baking dish, cover with favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, sprinkle with cheese of choice, and bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.
Microwave:
- Place 170 g to 215 g of frozen pasta in microwave-safe bowl, add favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, ensuring pasta is fully covered with sauce.
- Microwave on high for 2 minutes, mix carefully as product will be hot, and cook for 3 more minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.

Serving Suggestions
- With tomato sauces: pair with Napoletana or Bolognese for efficient, classic service.
- With creamy sauces: great with rosée, Alfredo, or cheese sauce—comforting and well coated.
- In pasta salads: ideal warm/cold with vegetables, herbs, and vinaigrette.
- Quick sauté: excellent for fast tosses with vegetables and a touch of sauce to finish.
