Macaroni
Cut macaroni, popular in northern and central Italy, is a versatile pasta shape especially well-suited for soups and meat sauces. Its small tubes add texture, hold sauce beautifully, and maintain their shape when served. A staple for macaroni and cheese, baked dishes and pasta salads alike.

Skillet:
- Bring water to a rolling boil (2–6 liters depending on quantity), add 1 teaspoon of salt (optional).
- Add desired amount of frozen pasta to boiling water. Wait until water returns to a rolling boil and cook for 30 seconds.
- Drain and toss pasta in skillet with preheated O Sole Mio sauce. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, until reaching internal temperature of 162°F (72°C). Add favourite toppings as desired (parmesan, basil, chili, etc.).
Oven:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place 500 g of frozen pasta in baking dish, cover with favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, sprinkle with cheese of choice, and bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.
Microwave:
- Place 170 g to 215 g of frozen pasta in microwave-safe bowl, add favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, ensuring pasta is fully covered with sauce.
- Microwave on high for 2 minutes, mix carefully as product will be hot, and cook for 3 more minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.

Serving Suggestions
- With thick sauces: perfect with Bolognese, meat sauce, or ragù—its twist holds sauce well.
- With pesto: ideal for pesto-based recipes (basil, herb blends), finished with vegetables and cheese.
- In pasta salads: excellent warm/cold with crunchy vegetables, herbs, and vinaigrette.
- Quick sauté: sauté with vegetables and finish with a touch of sauce.
