Linguine

Linguine are long pasta with a slightly flattened shape. Wider than spaghetti but narrower than fettuccine, they have the perfect texture for light sauces and pesto to cling to. Cooked al dente, the pasta is individually portioned and quick-frozen. Ready to use, they cook straight from the freezer in just minutes.

Skillet:
1. Bring water to a rolling boil (2–6 liters depending on quantity), add 1 teaspoon of salt (optional).
2. Add desired amount of frozen pasta to boiling water. Wait until water returns to a rolling boil and cook for 30 seconds.
3. Drain and toss pasta in skillet with preheated O Sole Mio sauce. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, until reaching internal temperature of 162°F (72°C). Add favourite toppings as desired (parmesan, basil, chili, etc.).
Oven:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Place 500 g of frozen pasta in baking dish, cover with favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, sprinkle with cheese of choice, and bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.
Microwave:
1. Place 170 g to 215 g of frozen pasta in microwave-safe bowl, add favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, ensuring pasta is fully covered with sauce.
2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, mix carefully as product will be hot, and cook for 3 more minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.
*Heating time may vary between ovens.
Durum wheat semolina pasta, Water, Canola oil.

Serving Suggestions

With lighter sauces: ideal with Napoletana, garlic-olive oil, or sautéed vegetables.
With creamy sauces: delicious with Alfredo, rosée, or vodka sauce for well-coated noodles.
With seafood: perfect with shrimp, scallops, or fish in tomato or cream sauces.
One-pan option: quick toss with vegetables and protein, finished with hot sauce for fast service.
