Beef  Tortellini

These tortellini are filled with a generous braised beef filling, seasoned to perfection with red wine, herbs, and a hint of garlic.   • Skillet:

    1. Bring water to a rolling boil (2–6 liters depending on quantity), add 1 teaspoon of salt (optional).
    2. Add desired amount of frozen pasta to boiling water. Wait until water returns to a rolling boil and cook for 30 seconds.
    3. Drain and toss pasta in skillet with preheated O Sole Mio sauce. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, until reaching internal temperature of 162°F (72°C). Add favourite toppings as desired (parmesan, basil, chili, etc.).

    Oven:

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Place 500 g of frozen pasta in baking dish, cover with favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, sprinkle with cheese of choice, and bake for 26 to 30 minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.

    Microwave:

    1. Place 170 g to 215 g of frozen pasta in microwave-safe bowl, add favourite O Sole Mio sauce or toppings, ensuring pasta is fully covered with sauce.
    2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, mix carefully as product will be hot, and cook for 3 more minutes, until internal temperature of 162°F (72°C) is reached.

    *Heating time may vary between ovens.
