Penne with italian sausage, tomato & grilled pepper sauce
A complete meal made with penne, mild Italian sausage, and a sauce crafted from fresh tomatoes and roasted red peppers: bring the taste of Italy straight to your plate!
Enjoy a delicious meal in four simple steps: open, assemble, heat in the microwave for 8 minutes, and serve.
Microwave:
- Open pouch of pasta and spread pasta inside the tray.
- Open pouch of sausage and spread meat over the pasta.
- Shake the pouch of sauce well and pour sauce evenly over the pasta and meat.
- Cover the tray with a double layer of paper towel. Microwave on medium-high for 7-9 minutes* or until a temperature of 165°F (74°C) is exceeded at the center of the product.
- Remove tray from microwave. Be careful. The tray will be hot. Stir well and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Conventional oven:
– DO NOT cook in toaster oven.
– DO NOT place close to oven heat element.
– DO NOT exceed 400 °F (205 °C).- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open pouch of pasta and spread pasta inside the tray.
- Open pouch of sausage and spread meat over the pasta.
- Shake the pouch of sauce well and pour sauce evenly over the pasta and meat.
- Place tray on a baking sheet on middle oven rack. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Stir and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes* or until a temperature of 165°F (74°C) is exceeded at the center of the product.
- Remove from oven. Be careful. The tray will be hot. Stir well and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
*Cooking time may vary depending on the appliance used.
